Four planning rules the group applies before elevation styling is even discussed.
The Rules
- Separate movement systems for residents, visitors and service
- Every habitable room gets an external wall — no borrowed light
- Utility functions get their own enclosed space so kitchens stay finished spaces
- Landscape is designed to survive Punjab's summer, not just to render well
On Elevation
Facade decisions follow shading logic. Deep balcony overhangs and recessed western glazing do more for comfort in Amritsar than any cladding material.
